US Marines tackle and disarm a gunman wielding an AK-47 aboard a high speed European Train.

The critically injured US servicemen who has not been identified heard the gunman loading up his rifle inside of the bathroom. A scuffle ensued with eyewitness saying three Marines disarmed the gunman and detained him until emergency services arrived. The Marine was airlifted to CHR hospital in Lille, France. A second Marine was stabbed, and taken to the hospital of Arras with non life threatening injuries.
Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve addressing the press praised the Marines for their bravery. " I would like to express our gratitude to and admiration for these American passengers. Thanks to the calm composure of the Americans we have avoided a terrible tragedy. They have showed extreme bravery in extremely difficult circumstances.
The suspected terrorist had 6 fully loaded magazines with roughly 200 rounds of ammunition. He also had a knife. A spokesmen for the Interior Ministry said 'its too early to link the attacks to terrorism.' The incident took place at approximately 6pm local time, about 100 miles north of Paris near the town of Arras. Investigators from France's special anti- terror police are leading the investigation. The suspect is a 26 year Moroccan.
